The list below provides a summarized overview of the changes that have been made in the Text Editing System throughout different versions. Every version of TES has several customized editions. Different clients require different modules to be added to the system. TES is easily customizable and offers this feature for programmers. These customized versions were left out of the overview. Only major releases are shown.

Version 4.0
January 2010 

  • Extended user control (including names)
  • Increased user level usage throughout the system (personalized menus, etc.)
  • Improved blog author indication
  • Small user interface changes (including new button design)
  • New confirmation screens (small boxes to reduce clicks)
  • System overview page updated ('Profile' renamed to 'System')
  • Settings page added (for modules, preferences and details)
  • PHP Info support added
  • Image upload loading screen added
  • Text and Blog archives updated (new sort order and 'edit' button added)
  • Updated support page (external)
  • Bug fixes (related to IE7)
  • Many small other updates
